Nic Galway, VP of Global Design for mega German sportswear brand, Adidas, has launched another partnered collection with Yosuke Aizawa’s Japanese label, White Mountaineering. The two debuted their collaboration at the Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion fair in Florence, known for showcasing new menswear.
The runway presented a futuristic feel, with triangular LED pieces partnering the stage, helping create visual illusions. Models wore three signature stripes painted upon their face and neck areas, yet again displaying the uniformed ambiance of Adidas. Aizawa’s outdoorsy influenced apparel is set in the form of Adidas’s standard active wear, such as tracksuits, bomber jackets, tights, and pants, all layered. The clothing’s color palette consists of dark, terrestrial landscape hues, which appropriately fits White Mountaineering’s availing, nature inspired theme. The collection will be released in August 2016.
