After a five year hiatus, the Black Eyed Peas have returned for their 20th anniversary.

Back in the 90s when BEP originally started as a three-man group with Will.I.Am, and Tabbo, their sound carried a raw hip-hop sound. Of course, that raw hip-hop turned into funky, futuristic pop when Fergie joined the group in 2002. This disappointed hip-hop fans, but now, after over a decade of futuristic, mainstream pop music, BEP has brought the hip-hop scene something special.

“Yesterday” is a reminiscent track that takes a look back on the old school hip-hop classics. Will.I.Am premiered the track on July 17th during his appearance on the UK radio program Beats1 with Zane Lowe. Take a listen to the track below and let us know what you think of the Black Eyed Peas bringing classic hip-hop back in a modern way.
